Bullet-proof glass usually includes a polycarbonate fiber layer sandwiched between ordinary glass layers. Bullets can easily penetrate the outer layer of glass, but the strong polycarbonate layer will stop the movement of the bullet before it can penetrate the inner layer of glass.

The thickness of Bullet-proof glass is usually 70 to 75 mm.
